CO-OP Comprehensive Online Course

Unlock the potential of the Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance (CO-OP) approach with our virtual instructor-led Online CO-OP Comprehensive Course. This integrated online program combines the CO-OP Basics and the CO-OP Consolidation, designed for professionals to eager to apply the CO-OP method in their practice. 
Course Details:
•    Cost: $575 CAD for the online course.
•    Aim: This comprehensive workshop prepares participants to implement the CO-OP approach effectively, bridging the foundational knowledge from The Basics with  application strategies in Consolidation.
•    Format: Online access in English 
•    Target Audience: This workshop is designed for anyone interested in becoming competent in using the CO-OP Approach with clients in their actual practice context.

Learning Outcomes: 
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Explain the seven key features of the CO-OP Approach
2. Set client-centered occupation-based goals  
3. Carry out dynamic performance analyses (DPA) iteratively to identify performance breakdowns, 
4. Frame intervention sessions using cognitive strategies 
5. Apply guided discovery iteratively to identify strategies and support skill acquisition
6. Incorporate basic enabling principles into their sessions
7. Promote generalization and transfer
8. Operate in an evidence-based framework to measure change pre-post.
Certification: Participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion. Participants who have successfully completed the Comprehensive Course will be eligible to take the CO-OP Approach Certification course.
